About me:

Terry Guy and The Models is an unsigned music artist from London, and is in process of finishing his debut album “So Much to Say, So Little Time,” with producers Julian Chown (Patricia, Groove Armada’s Valerie from band Maxfield) and Samuel Harris (ex-band member of The Infidels), and Wiggzaro. The album features collaborations with rappers Lester Greene and Chewy as well as R&B singers D’Monte and Patricia. The first official single is “My Straight Lover.” It was released on digital download at CDBaby, I-Tunes, Amazon and other online stores on December 2nd 2010. A release date for the album and follow-up singles is yet to be confirmed. The next official single to be released is "Everybody Sucks (F*** All The)" in early 2011. "The Models are the songs, the stories, my experiences, my life, my past, my present and what's yet to come.....the music. “I was given a cassette of Buddy Holly’s hits when I was 5, so I spent the majority of my childhood either listening to “Peggy Sue Got Married”, or my sister’s CD collection, such as Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Janet Jackson, and got into Queen via my dad who was a massive Freddie Mercury fan. Then I discovered dance/electro music when I was listening to Radio 1 and Xfm. I was 14 when I composed my first house tune at school on their Logic System, can’t seem to find the cassettes anymore. Unlike school though, college was a really good experience for me. I discovered songwriters like Tori Amos and Dashboard Confessional, and was really into Alanis Morissette and Paula Cole for a while. Gothed-up for a bit, when I was listening to loads of Depeche Mode, Marilyn Manson, Jack-Off-Jill and all that. Punk, however, was a huge inspiration behind my album. No other genre had spoke out to me before with its element of freedom as well as its expression of emotion and angry humour. I found myself for the first time and didn’t feel afraid anymore to musically speak my mind, and now…here we are today…”
